Go to Google
Adwords sign up page and click the "Try Adwords Now" button.
2) Google Adwords Edition:
Select Adwords Starter or Standard Edition as shown below:
If you choose starter edition Google will walk you thru to create your
first Adwords ad campaign, if you choose standard edition, you will
need to login with your Google e-mail or create a Google Account.
I recommend using standard edition since you will access to all Google
Adwords features all at once.
3) Billing Information:
Now you are ready to create your first campaign but your ads will not
be active without billing information. You can enter your billing information
under:
My Account>Billing Preferences>Account Setup
You can choose direct debit or credit card as payment options.
A) Pre-paid Adwords account: Is a
pay as you go account meaning you're given a choice to pay a certain
amount up front and use it until it runs out.
B) Post-paid Adwords account: Google
bills your account at the end of the month depending on monthly usage.
The Difference Between Google Adwords Starter
and Standard Edition:
1) Adwords
Starter Edition: Google offers this simple version of
AdWords for beginners that allows new users advertise a single product.
Starter edition does not offer advanced features such as; multiple ad
groups, placement targeting or advanced planning tools. The good news
is that you can upgrade at any time to Google's Standard Edition at
any time with no additional charge.
2) Adwords Standard Edition:
Is a more advanced version of adwords the standard edition offers advanced
features such as; multiple campaigns for multiple products or services,
multiple ad formats, advanced reporting, advanced targeting, advanced
cost control, advanced planning tools, placement targeting. This is
the standard edition where all the features of adwords are provided.
